In my collaborations with Eric David Laxman, I continue to explore natural patterns while engaging in a dynamic verbal dialogue on aesthetics and philosophy. Our sculpture “Lotus” has found its permanent home at The Norfolk Sculpture Trail, on the Village Green.

Minimal | Maximal
Minimal | Maximal: The Principle of Convergence features visual relationships on a numerically larger scale with work in various media, painting, photography, sculpture and works on paper, that echo, when exhibited together— the idea of the convergence of often viewed as polarized extremes.
This exhibition inspired by the philosophical observations and deductions by French mathematician, philosopher and pioneering social scientist Blaise Pascal brings together a large number of work with manifold techniques and artistic practices, reaching from Minimalism to Abstract Expressionism to abstracted, conceptual representation, and from small to larger formats.

Cape Cod Open Sculptural Invitational 2024
The Cape Cod Museum of Art and the New England Sculptors Association are pleased to present their second joint Juried Sculpture Exhibition on the 22-acre campus of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts in Dennis, MA. Over 30 sculptures have been installed across the Museum grounds, including my sculpture titled “SHELL” (above).

UCONN Open Air 2022
For the past several months, I have been working with artists Debra Vilen and Steven Harris as part of The CoyWolf Collective. We have created Silent Vanishing for the UCONN Open Air 2022 exhibit in Groton, CT July 14-March 30 2023. The opening is July 14 5:30-8 PM.

Installation artist Elizabeth Knowles uses X-Ray images to create her site-specific three-dimensional work Night Vision. Just as X-rays send ultravisible light through the body to reveal the shadows of internal structures, the artist exposes dynamic patterns of physiology, life and death.

Using fractal patterns, the sculptor, Elizabeth Knowles dwells on the future of humans and the death of her father. Skyler Knutzen’s film premiered at the CineJoy Virtual Fest on 2021.

I am the Artist-in-Residence at the Weir Farm Art Center in Wilton, CT for February 2019. The Weir Farm National Historic Site is the only National Park Service unit dedicated to American painting.

Utilizing a variety of media, Elizabeth Knowles’ work reveals both static and dynamic patterns in nature recurring on different scales of perception. This exploration of natural patterns connects landscapes and life forms, physiology and physics, death and detritus, growth and form.
